ONe JED
JED owns this company and hosts the morning show. There is value in JED telling the Region about your business.
Buy spots, buy a show
1. Buy spots. - Buy a drivetime spot for $30 and we run it on two radio stations and five streaming video outlets. We turn your radio spot into a TV commercial for video.
2. Buy a show. - Come to our studios at Purdue Northwest and we'll talk live on seven outlets (two radio, five video) for $250 for 25 minutes. It's great exposure on a 97-year-old radio station and a great Facebook Live post. These shows are quite popular. Check them out at JEDtv.com - Town of Munster, St. Catherine Hospital, Lake County Sheriff, Veterans Views, Guard Street cybersecurity, etc.

Value
When you join the WJOB and JEDtv family, you get the best advertising value in the Calumet Region.
Content - As we have done for 97 years, we tell the Region story every day. JED does it in the morning on TV and radio. And 20-something PNW grads do it in the afternoon. Breaking news, high school sports, traffic, political debate, Indiana basketball. We do so many shows and games on Tv and radio that we've lost count. Your spot goes next to all of it.
Distribution - Our mission is to create as much local content as possible and distribute it on as many new media platforms as possible. Strong local media that meets Region people in their cars with radio and on their phones, computers and in their living rooms with TV makes the Region a better place. We get identity from Chicago and government from Indy, but we have our own WJOB and JEDtv.
You may ask - Am I buying radio spots? TV commercials? JED's endorsement? NFL games? Breaking news? High school basketball?
Yes. We started as an AM radio station. Then we were the first in the Region to broadcast Facebook Live video (15,000,000 views). We bought an FM station. We built a video network with our own app and website. Each layer of distribution adds more value to the $30 you pay for a spot or $250 for a show.
Where we go, you go - Your spot may air on radio and TV during JED's show... but you may be listening to an NFL game on Sunday and hear it there too. Or you may be watching a high school football game and there you are. It's the same philosophy with the show you buy. You appear in the late morning on live radio and TV... and then you go home and your kids are watching you on Facebook. And then two days later you're driving home from Strack & Van Til's and you hear a replay of your show.
What's next? We are on the campus of Purdue Northwest, so to some extent it depends on what students come up with next. Right now, we are working on podcasts, streaming radio stations and the HeyJED app. Check out betas at jedtv.com.

Sports
Pre Covid, we broadcasted 250 games a year on Tv and radio, including Indiana high school and NCAA tournaments. Now, we broadcast what we can, including the NFL, SEC and Big Ten on radio and high school and local college on TV. There are still opportunities to tell your story on Sports. Contact Sam@wjob1230.com.
The main package - You won't get a visit from a salesperson. We direct our resources at content and distribution. This keeps prices low. Many local small businesses do the $149 package. This gets you five guaranteed radio and five guaranteed video spots. Plus we take you with us wherever else we go. Call us, email, or fill out the form and pay.
